Why We Spent 1,000 Hours Testing Neck Support (So You Don’t Have To)

Before we launched the Glacier Pillow, we didn’t just “design” it in a studio and call it done. We slept on it. For months.

By the time we stopped counting, we had logged more than 1,000 hours of test sleeps — on planes, in cars, at desks, and on couches at 2 a.m. when we couldn’t stop working.

1,000+ Sleep Hours
12 Shapes Tested
14 Fabric Prototypes

1. The Problem with "The Ring"

Most neck pillows are built like a ring — they support the back, but leave your jaw hanging. That's why your head tilts forward, causing you to wake up sore.

The Solution: Our Asymmetrical Wing Design. Higher on one side, lower on the other. It adapts to the way you lean, not the other way around.

2. “Soft” is Not Supportive

Plush pillows feel great for 20 minutes, then they go flat. We switched to High-Density Memory Foam. It’s firmer at first, but after a few days, it learns your unique cervical curve. It becomes yours.

3. "Like Butter, but Cool"

We tested 14 fabrics over 6 months. The winner? Grade A Baby-Safe Cooling Fabric. It’s tested to feel 70% cooler on contact. And unlike other brands, our cooling property is woven into the fibers—it won't wash out.

4. The XXS to XXL Fit

One size doesn't fit all. That’s why we designed a full-circle velcro strap. Whether you have a small frame or broad shoulders, it stays put even during a bumpy flight.

5. The "Broccoli Roll"

A pillow should travel with you, not against you. The Glacier Pillow rolls down to the size of a fist. It clips onto your bag and springs back to shape instantly when unrolled.
